sony really got it shoved up the ass this time, this is a PSA people all ps5s can be hacked in 2 minutes now (search 'modded warfare ps5' on youtube to learn more):
Basically, after a shitton of major fuckups back to back that genuinely let you theorize on who is trying to sabotage the company from within, including but not limited to
- stopping physical disks (especially insane since sony pioneered the disk AND since they're basically the only relevant company still doing them (fuck xbox))
- closing the ps3 and psvita stores (went crazy under the radar because of the disk announcement)
- multiple cases of taking away digital bought movies n stuff from people (horrible timing considering that they just announced they will basically be able to do this with any game ever purchased now)
- wolverine
- ignoring the backlash until shareholders asked, being unapologetically bitchy and extremly ungrateful to their customers
- raising ps5 prices like crazy

- probably trafficking children idk i wouldnt put it past them now
anyways people got so insanely mad, probably the maddest ive ever seen the internet get at a company, that the collective hate and spite became a pretty good motivator for revenge. this means multiple things
- tha jailbreak scene for the ps5 started going so fast that within 3 months, they found a hypervisor exploit (the deepest level there is, allows for running LINUX and using the ps5 as an actual pc) for the NEWEST, LATEST ps5 version, meaning for the first time ever, every single console out there is affected
- said exploit has STILL not been patched, there is slight hope that it persists until GTA6 which would completly fuck over sony and rockstar, but low chance that this happens as theyre probably gonna patch everything before the game releases
- apart from just the exploit which allows for piracy, lots of mods came out, like a switch emulator on ps5, mods to use any controller and any pair of bluetooth headphones, a moonlight client, and even an on console Freeshop, ALSO all ps5 games to date can be cracked easily now
- probably the craziest news is the new ps5 'emulators' (technically translation layers and not emus which actually gives a huge performance advantage), where in the span of about 2 months, both emulators went from maybe booting a black screen in hollow knight to playing Demon Souls, Astrobot and even (eww) Wolverine (eww) at 4K60 with decent performance and stability, shit went so fast that in one instance a game went from 3 to 30 fps within 3 hours of development thats INSANE
and NEVER EVER be a pirate and do stuff like go on dirty websites like 'dlpsgame.com' or 'superpsx.com' and do shady stuff like looking for any ps4 or ps5 game. If you trip, fall on your water jug, which then spills on the keyboard and misinputs so bad that it downloads the package, be careful that it isnt a '.pkg' file for ps4 games or a '.pkg, .ffpfsc, .exfat, or folder' file for ps5 games. Be careful not to use 7zip or nanazip to extract the .zip downloads if necessary, and if the download comes in pieces like '.rar1', '.rar2', etc. be careful not to select them all and unzip so that a single usable file comes out. If your dog steps on the broken keyboard and does all that, be careful not to transfer any .pkg files to a usb drive, plug that into your console, go into debug, goldhen or etahen settings, press on package installer, and do NOT select the file you just put on your usb drive to be installed and immediately playable like any other game. and if its any of the other mentioned file formats, do NOT connect to your ps5 via ftp, go into /data/homebrew and transfer any file or folder there, then install the 'shadowmountplus' plugin in order to detect these games and make them playable. Be careful out there guys, lots of dirty pirates that wanna steal sonys fair earned revenue!!!!
